Kate always stuns at Easter
Last year, Kate also missed the service due to her cancer treatment. The Princess of Wales took a step back from all of her public duties until she was in recovery.
The royals love to dress up and look fashionable for the service. So, even though we won’t see Kate today, let’s reminisce about her Easter outfits over the years.

Kate Middleton wows in royal blue outfit for Easter 2023
The last time we saw Kate, 43, out for the Easter service definitely is up there with the best. In 2023, she opted for a stunning royal blue coat dress, which was designed by Catherine Walker.
She also wore a matching hat, made by Lock & Co. Kate carried her Emmy London Natasha Clutch, and added moonstone earring accessories.
On the same year, Queen Camilla also wore a royal blue outfit – clearly the colour of the season!
And that was also the year that young Prince Louis – William and Kate’s youngest child – made his Easter debut, holding his mum’s hand as they walked to the church.

Kate Middleton’s Easter pastel outfit in 2022
Blue seemed to be Kate’s Easter colour for a while. In 2022, the Princess of Wales (then Duchess of Cambridge) wore a pale blue outfit.
She chose a pastel blue coat dress which was designed by Emilia Wickstead. However, instead of wearing a hat, Kate opted for for a slightly darker blue Jane Taylor headband.
She then added pearl earrings by Cassandra Goad and carried her Emmy London clutch.

2014 and 2019 – Princess Kate made outfit repeat
Back in 2014, Kate stepped out in an outfit that she repeated a few years later.
Kate showed that she isn’t afraid to rewear some stunning outfits. In 2014, she wore another pale blue dress. This coat dress was designed by Alexander McQueen.
She styled it with a Jane Taylor hat and grey heels. The first time it was worn was during the Easter services in Sydney in 2014.

At the time, she and William were on an official royal tour to New Zealand and Australia. On Easter Sunday they attended services at St Andrew’s Cathedral.
But she repeated the whole outfit a few years later, in 2019 at Easter again.

Kate Middleton’s pregnant Easter outfit in 2018
In April 2018, three weeks before she gave birth to son Prince Louis, Kate was positively glowing at the Easter service.
In a change of colour, the princess opted for a brown look – a move to perhaps keep speculation of the baby’s gender away?
Instead, Kate wore a chocolate brown Catherine Walker coat dress that still showcased her baby bump. She matched it with a brown Lock & Co. hat.
That year she also carried a Loeffler Randall clutch, and accessorised with pearl Balenciaga earrings.
It was also this year that William and Kate arrived late for the service, after getting caught in traffic.
Kate sure knows how to wow us with her choice for her Easter outfit every year!
