A family history of heart disease and a few wake-up calls at the doctor’s office led her to explore heart-healthy eating.
But she didn’t want to give up flavor or feel like she was constantly saying no. The Mediterranean way of eating appealed to her—bright ingredients, satisfying textures, and a balance between nutrition and enjoyment.
