While liking her music may be subjective, the numbers are simply undeniable. Apart from the fact that her “Eras Tour” concert series earned a record-breaking $1 billion in ticket sales over its near-two-year, 149-show run, Swift also emerged as the most streamed artist on Spotify for 2024 with a whopping 26.6 billion streams.
Her album “The Tortured Poets Department” was also the most streamed album last year, while “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” and “Lover” also ranked in the Top 10. Moreover, Swift’s 2019 hit “Cruel Summer” was the ninth-most streamed song in 2024.

According to a new report by Spotify, which is statistically the most popular streaming service worldwide, they made history last year by “paying the music industry over $10 billion in 2024.”
The report went on to indicate that this is the largest payout in the music industry’s history and that it brings Spotify’s total lifetime payouts to nearly $60 billion.
Given how much Swift dominated the Spotify charts last year, the fact of the matter is that she played a major role in fueling this historic move.
According to The Sun, Swift earned $103 million in royalties from Spotify in 2024. This is more than double the amount reportedly paid to The Weeknd, who was No. 2 on the list with $51.5 million worth of royalties for 13.3 billion streams.

For now, though, Swift is enjoying her time away from the spotlight as she takes a break after almost two years on the road. Reports have indicated that she’s spending a lot of time with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, as the couple make the most of their downtime together.
Swift and Kelce reportedly vacationed abroad recently. They were also spotted on a night out in Utah where they seemed to have enjoyed a low-key dinner date.
