Musk writes that he is “not against finding out” if the child is his. St. Clair says that he “refused” to take a paternity test.
Elon Musk’s paternity drama continues.
In a post on X yesterday, the co-lead of the new “Department of Government Efficiency” wrote that he has given millions to MAGA influencer Ashley St. Clair to care for the child she says is his son.
The thread began with a post sharing a video of St. Clair saying that she was selling her Tesla to make up for $100,000 in cuts to her child support payments from Musk.
Musk himself responded, writing, “I don’t know if the child is mine or not, but am not against finding out. No court order is needed. Despite not knowing for sure, I have given Ashley $2.5M and am sending her $500k/year.”
St. Clair has petitioned the Supreme Court of New York for sole legal custody of the infant son she says she shares with Musk.
In the court documents obtained by TODAY.com, St. Clair claimed: “I am, and always have been, the only parent and caretaker that R.S.C. has known.” (R.S.C. are her infant son’s initials.) Musk, she said, only met the child three times since his birth in Sept. 2024.
St. Clair replied to Musk’s March 31 message on X. She wrote: “Elon, we asked you to confirm paternity through a test before our child (who you named) was even born. You refused.
“And you weren’t sending *me* money, you were sending support for your child that you thought was necessary … until you withdrew most of it to maintain control and punish me for ‘disobedience.’ But you’re really only punishing your son.”
She concluded, “America needs you to grow up, you petulant man-child.”
The X owner has 13 other children with three other women, including six children with his ex-wife Justine Wilson. Their first child, a boy named Nevada, died as an infant. Musk later welcomed three children with musician Grimes, whose legal name is Claire Elise Boucher. He now has four children with tech executive Shivon Zilis.
One week after St. Clair said that Musk was her son’s father, he welcomed son Seldon Lycurgus with Zilis.
