On Monday, she responded to an article by Jeremy W. Peters in The New York Times on X (formerly Twitter). The article noted that Rowling had been accused of undermining “real feminism” and had received messages from critics who burned her books in protest of her controversial opinions.
In her reply, Rowling contended that Peters had minimized the harassment directed at her and her family, labeling it a “rewriting of history.”
