A new ’10/10′ Netflix movie has been compared to ‘Die Hard’ and is apparently so good that people are watching it twice.
Starring Taron Egerton and Jason Bateman, fans have rated it ’10/10′ which is pretty impressive, since the film only came out December 13.
Carry-On, directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, is set on Christmas Eve just like the Bruce Willis classic.
Egerton plays a TSA (transportation security agent) named Ethan Kopek who ends up being blackmailed by Bateman’s character, Traveler.
Traveler is looking for Ethan to smuggle some dangerous items onto a flight and threatens him in order to get what he wants.
Speaking to ScreenRant, Egerton said: “Jason was amazing. He did a couple of days with me where he actually provided the voice, and he was there recording live with me, and that was a real luxury. The rest of the time I recorded it with an actor.”
The synopsis on the streaming giant reads: “A crowded airport. A dangerous suitcase. A mysterious criminal mastermind.”
On Christmas Eve, a security officer faces the ultimate travel nightmare.”
Fans were quick to praise the film, with one person writing on social media: “Definitely a 10/10… have you guys seen this movie yet?”
“It’s like Die Hard but with a TSA agent, really enjoyed it!” another said.
A third agreed: “Best movie I’ve seen on Netflix for a long time!”
