Some of the Spurs legends on this list played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday afternoon as they beat AC Milan Glorie 6-2 in an epic tussle.
We’ll get to some of those names right now with this rundown of numbers 20 to 16 and there will be more to come in the coming days. This is sure to cause some debate, and we’re here for it. You can tell us what you think of our rankings in the comments section below.
-
Number 20 – Michael Carrick
May have only spent two years with Tottenham, but had a huge impact in a short space of time. Joining from rivals West Ham, Carrick established himself under Martin Jol, after initially struggling to assert himself under Jacques Santini. Made the team tick in the midfield and was soon snapped up by Manchester United after that fateful lasagne-gate episode that saw Spurs miss out on the Champions League places. -
Number 19 – Aaron Lennon
Took part in the legends game at the weekend and football.london reporter Josh Holland even suggested he could still do a job in the Premier League for Spurs now. Quick, skilful and a joy to watch on the ball, Lennon spent 10 years in north London and was a hugely popular member of the squad throughout. Will be remembered for doing all the work to set up that Peter Crouch goal in the San Siro (above). -
Number 18 – Danny Rose
Formed probably the best full-back partnership Spurs have had in recent years alongside another player on this list. Shot to fame with a stunning long-range strike against Arsenal on his debut and formed part of a strong English core at the heart of Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs side. (Image: Getty Images)3 of 5

Number 17 – Kyle Walker
The other part of that successful full-back pairing. Kyle Walker is undoubtedly one of the best right-backs Spurs have ever had. He has gone on to achieve greatness with Manchester City, showing the quality he had. Like Rose before him, scored his first Tottenham goal against Arsenal in a 2-1 win. 4 of 5

Number 16 – Christian Eriksen
What a player. The Dane formed part of the successful DESK frontline that led Pochettino’s side to regular Champions League finishes. Eriksen was the creative spark in the side, scoring 51 times for Spurs in more than 200 appearances for the club. Sits just outside the top ten for all-time assists in the Premier League.
