Jamie Lee Curtis Gives a ‘Bold’ Three-Word Comment to Another Actress’s Pantsless Look

Jamie Lee Curtis didn’t walk the purple carpet looking to make headlines, but with just three words, she ended up delivering one of the night’s most talked-about moments.

At the 2025 Las Culturistas Culture Awards, Jamie Lee Curtis turned heads, not for her outfit, but for her loud, unapologetic three-word reaction to another star, Allison Janney’s daring pantsless look.

The moment, which was captured in the second slide of Allison’s Instagram post, has since gone viral. Jamie, attending the event hosted by Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang, shouted the remark, “Go [expletive] yourself,” with gleeful admiration, sparking laughter from Allison.

“What a thrill to attend the @lasculturistas awards! Thank you @fayedunaway and @mattrogerstho and for my favorite red carpet shout out @jamieleecurtis I adore you! Also @sethmcfarlane for my favorite animated shout out [sic]😂,” Allison captioned her carousel of event photos and videos.

Jamie’s response was directed at Allison’s high-fashion, bold ensemble, featuring an asymmetrical black tuxedo blazer with one sheer leg and shimmering tights. The structured-meets-sultry look drew attention on the carpet, pairing classic tailoring with edgy glamour.

But not everyone was charmed by the exchange or the outfit. Online reactions ranged from praise to sharp criticism, with many chiming in under the Instagram and Facebook posts sharing the video.

On Instagram, one supporter cheered, “JLC with that real friend support!! 👏🔥 Bravo to you and those gams! ❤️” Another fan shared a heartfelt story, “I want that JLC audio as my ringtone! 2 of my favorite women. @jamieleecurtis you inspired me a few years ago to start making sure to tell random women how fabulous and amazing they are, whenever I get a chance [sic].”

Though some accused Jamie of being too brash, the Emmy- and Oscar-winning actress is no stranger to outspoken moments, especially when it comes to pop culture. In a recent interview with VT on TikTok, Jamie reacted just as passionately to the rumored romance between Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson.

“They’ve just hard-launched on Instagram,” the interviewer said, prompting Jamie to light up. “Okay, it means they’ve like, ‘You know who it is, Liam Neeson and Pamela!'” she replied.

Then, with emotion in her voice, Jamie added:

“You know what? With all due respect to pop culture, if love has found their way into that relationship, God bless them both. Leave them the [expletive] alone! And let them like each other because both of them have had hardship, and they’re both beautiful human…makes me cry [sic]!”

She continued, “They’re beautiful human beings, and if they actually have found an intimate love with each other, we should all go to bed tonight feeling better.”

Jamie also shared a personal connection to Pamela:

“Cause she’s a beautiful person. Because I worked with her on a movie, “The Last Showgirl.” She was fantastic! But she’s a beautiful human being. And he, he’s also suffered an… you know, an unimaginable loss so young, and he’s had a really hard go of it. So if in fact these people have hard launched, then wish them the best and leave them alone [sic].”

Jamie’s emotional defense of the pair wasn’t just a passionate soundbite. It echoed a growing public acknowledgment of Liam and Pamela’s relationship, which their children have also begun to embrace in recent appearances and social media posts.

Daniel Neeson, son of Liam and the late Natasha Richardson, also reacted to his father’s new relationship with Pamela during the August 2025 promotions for “The Naked Gun.”

His first gesture came on August 1, when Pamela uploaded several images of herself and Liam on an Instagram carousel. In the black-and-white photos, the couple can be seen throwing popcorn and making silly faces at the camera. Daniel took to the comments section with, “🙌🙌🔥🔥🤍🤍🔫.”

These moments come amid reports that his father has finally stepped into his first public relationship since Natasha’s death on March 18, 2009. It’s been 16 years since. Over a year ago, Daniel uploaded a heartfelt tribute on his Instagram to honor the anniversary of his mother’s passing.

“15 years since you’ve left this plane onto forever more. I look forward to re uniting one day but for now I take solace in knowing you’re beside me every step of the way. Hopefully, I’m making you proud [sic],” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Daniel isn’t the only one who has reacted to the pairing. Pamela’s son, Brandon Thomas Lee, was interviewed by Access Hollywood on the red carpet at the premiere of “The Naked Gun” on July 28.

When asked if he had visited the set, Brandon said he hadn’t, but mentioned seeing an early cut of the film and being surprised by how much he laughed.

“And it was actually really cool to see both of them in their comedic element really. Like, you know, Liam’s actually got great timing. So does my mom. She does. They both do a fantastic job,” he added.

Brandon was also asked about his reaction to his mother working on this type of genre. He answered, “My first reaction was, ‘I hope he didn’t push her off the edge or anything.’ I’m always worried when I get sent the videos because I’m like watching to see if anything crazy happens, but it just looks like they’re having a great time and it’s fun to see them be, you know, good castmates.”

When the interviewer asked how he felt about fans wanting to “ship” Liam and Pamela in real life, Brandon responded, “I just think they’re such great co-stars, you know? I think that’s part of it, right? I think they have such a great on-screen chemistry that it’s really, you know, it means it’s well done.”
