MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) – It is a heartbreaking time for family, friends, and communities after two high school students have passed away.
The two were multi-sport athletes at their schools.
Newton County’s Madisyn A’Miyah Evans was a softball player and powerlifter for the Cougars.
Northeast Lauderdale’s Treyvone Young was a baseball and football player for the Trojans.

Schools from around the area are sending their condolences to these two families.
